Reiki is non-invasive, gentle, and calming to receive. A Reiki treatment is carried out with the client lying down on a massage table in the peaceful and relaxed environment of a treatment room. The client remains fully clothed. The Reiki practitioner will place their hands lightly on the client's body in various non-intrusive positions.

The client remains fully clothed. The Reiki practitioner will place their hands lightly on the client's body in various non-intrusive positions. Receiving a Reiki treatment is a passive experience. Your energy system will automatically receive what Reiki energy it needs, and use it in whatever way is appropriate at that time. You may feel the Reiki energy as an energy flow from the practitioner's hands as warm, slight tingling, cool, or nothing at all. During the treatment sometimes people experience slight body movements or their stomach starts to rumble. It is also common to feel very relaxed, and some people fall asleep.
Following a treatment, you are encouraged to listen to your body and give it plenty of rest and care. Some people feel energized and relaxed while others can feel a little tired for a day or so following a treatment. To support the body's self-healing drink plenty of water, rest, and ideally refrain from excessive alcohol or caffeine for a day or two following a treatment. A standard Reiki treatment will include a short discussion time before and after. As an Intuitive Reiki therapist, Anita will be able to pick up on anything that needs attention on an emotional and physical level. If a treatment plan is required this will be discussed with your practitioner.

I think many of us go through a time in our lives when we reflect on what is 'work' and what is our 'passion'. I realized I wanted to reconnect with the harmony that I knew existed. I had been searching for a while and started to read books and articles on self-healing but the fundamental stepping stone was when I read a book on Archangel
I think many of us go through a time in our lives when we reflect on what is 'work' and what is our 'passion'. I realized I wanted to reconnect with the harmony that I knew existed. I had been searching for a while and started to read books and articles on self-healing but the fundamental stepping stone was when I read a book on Archangel Rafael, also known as the Healer. This was something that I couldn't ignore. I decided it was the right time to fulfill what I had been searching for. I have accomplished many things in my life: school, a successful career in sales and administration, having a family, having great friendships, and now I am following my true passion, helping people through Reiki and energy work. I truly enjoy helping others. I was born to be a helper. I consider myself an empath and extend my empathy and compassion toward my clients. I genuinely care for others and believe that change and feeling better are possible. I have seen the benefits of Reiki on so many people and nothing makes me feel more humbled, blessed, and satisfied when a client tells me they are feeling better!
